A 32-year-old police officer died in the city of Rosario after being struck by a shot fired by a colleague during the handling of a firearm. Subofficer Osías Ippolito was hit by a bullet in the abdomen while he was on duty in the Parque Casas neighborhood, accompanied by two officers and a civilian.
According to initial investigations, it is believed that the shot occurred when Alejandro P., a member of the Radio Electric Command, was handling a pistol.
